Your puzzles stay yours.

Puzzle Crucible currently runs entirely on your device. It does not require an account and does not send gameplay or personal information to the publisher.

Information stored on your device

The app uses browser storage to remember your language, theme, sound and mistake-limit settings, local high scores, completed-game count, and the current prototype ad-removal preference. This information remains in your browser profile and is not transmitted to the publisher.

Daily challenges

The current date is used on your device to generate the same daily puzzle for players. Your date, puzzle activity, and results are not sent to a server.

Offline use and caching

A service worker stores app files in your browser cache so Puzzle Crucible can start and play offline. You can remove this data by clearing the site's storage in your browser or by uninstalling the app.

Advertising and purchases

The current release contains demonstration ad panels only. No third-party advertising network is connected, and the app does not collect payment information. The “Remove Ads” control is a prototype preference and does not process a purchase. This policy will be updated before real advertising, analytics, accounts, cloud scores, or payments are introduced.

Children's privacy

Puzzle Crucible does not knowingly collect personal information from children or other players. There is currently no chat, user-generated content, account system, or social sharing feature.

Your choices

You can stop all local storage by clearing Puzzle Crucible's site data or uninstalling the app. Doing so also deletes local settings and high scores.

Changes to this policy

If the app's data practices change, this page will be revised and its effective date updated before the new practices are introduced.
